Fast Food but not Junk Food

Here are three dishes. Perfect for those days when you come home and there is nothing in the cupboard.
Hope you enjoy it. I do.

Pasta with Sage

Fresh Sage
Linguini
Olive Oil
Garlic
Salt and Black Pepper

Start boiling the water.
Peel the garlic and crush them (take out the middle bit)
Tear the sage into smallish pieces
When the pasta is about 3 minutes away from being al dente fry the oil and when hot put in the garlic. Fry on low heat until golden, mix in the sage and fry for half a minute. Strain the pasta and mix into the pan with the sage and garlic. Put in a tiny bit butter and allow it to melt. Salt and pepper to taste.

Pasta with Walnuts.

Pasta (penne, spaghetti or any pasta in fact)
Walnuts (handful per person)
Fresh red chill (dry if you don't have any fresh)
Garlic
Olive oil
Salt

Boil the water for the pasta. Put the pasta in and when about 6 minutes away from being al dente fry the oil and put the walnuts, crushed garlic (middle bit removed), chili and fry it for about 4 minutes, taking care not to burn it.
Mix all ingredients and season with salt to taste.

Spaghetti with Crab Meat and Chili.

Spaghetti
Crab meat
Chili
Olive oil

Boil the spaghetti and while the spaghetti is boiling, heat the oil on low heat and fry the crab meat and chili.
Mix it all together.

I hope these recipes are aimed at me. I like that special feeling, feeling wanted. I will definitely try them all. I tried the sage one again today. It was nice, but my technique needs to improve. This dish is so delicate - like the touch of a bird's feather (not a pigeon).
